Dear Parents and Friends:
Welcome to Allion Elementary School's website!
Our website is designed to make you more familiar with our bilingual school, located in the heart of the city of LaSalle, which is on 9th Avenue and Centrale Street; right beside LaSalle Comprehensive High School.
This website contains pertinent information which lists many of the school procedures in place to maintain a peaceful school where everyone feels safe and welcomed. We hope that in perusing our website, many of your questions will be answered; if not, please contact our school's administrative assistant, who will be happy to assist you.
As a staff, we believe that open communication is important in nurturing our children into leading citizens of tomorrow. Parents are welcome and encouraged to become active members by joining the various parent committees or simply volunteering. The parent committees are: Governing Board, SEED Daycare Advisory Committee, Home and School Committee, and Graduation Committee. Volunteer opportunities vary from helping out in the library, helping out with the school concert, choir, chaperoning during field trips, and the like.
Information on school activities are found on the monthly calendars. If you have not already done so, I recommend providing your email addresses to the administrative assistant so that you are well informed of what is happening on a day-to-day basis.
The staff and I welcome you to Allion Elementary School; a school nurturing leading citizens of tomorrow!
